Is “Sister” Still “Twisted”?
Okay, so the Christmas album was … well, a little … er, different?
But, now, Twisted Sister are talkin’ about turning their Christmas album into a stage show (yay!whoopee!hotdang!whatever …)
Actually, TS’s Jay Jay French says “We will be touring Europe and the U.S. playing ‘Stay Hungry’ start to finish and since ‘A Twisted Christmas’ was so successful we will be pursuing the ‘Twisted Christmas’ musical project.” But he included, “I urge fans to check with the Twisted Sister website for updates on all these projects and events.”
After followin’ the band since their “I Gotta Rock” debut, I … well, ya just kinda wonder what this tour’s gonna throw at us! With Snider’s no-holds-barred frame of mind, anything can happen …
TOTO, I THINK WE’RE IN KANSAS AGAIN!!
Just learned that the guitar-based rock of Kansas will be returning! Founding guitarist Kerry Livgren and former lead guitarist and (current Deep Purple picker) Steve Morse will be rejoining the band for a special 35th Anniversary gig.
They’ll be celebrating with a performance at White Concert Hall in Topeka, Kansas, with Livgren and Morse both being part of the night’s lineup.
Livgren was a co-founder and part of Kansas’ roster for the first thirteen years that the band was together. Morse played lead guitar on 1986’s Power and In the Spirit of Things from 1988.
The show will take place on February 9th and will be filmed for a DVD that will be entitled (appropriately) “There’s No Place Like Home”.
