“Tapping” Out??
This June, Spinal Tap are set to release a new album – the aptly titled ‘Back From The Dead’.
According to reports they’ve just wrapped up recording what will be a double album.
Early reports are saying that the band’s stuck to the songwriting style it knows best, with ‘Short And Sweet’ (a song that tops out at about seven minutes! It’s about Nigel’s four-foot-nine-inch girlfriend) being a highlight.
The release of the album will come out roughly at the same time as the group’s One Night Only World Tour, which will be held this June at Wembley Arena.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??
Supersongbird Susan Boyle has just made singing headlines — but already there’s a push to make a movie about her life!
What’s even stranger is that, while James Cameron (the genius behind the Titanic movie) is quite interested in the proposed project, sultry Mrs. Michael Douglas (aka Catherine Zeta-Jones) wants to play Susan herself!
Now, with no offense to Ms. Boyle (who is, I understand, a sweetheart of a lady), but they … well, they don’t exactly look the same!
To the Relic, it sounds like pure capitalization to make another quick cinematic buck!
(Hey … who’s gonna play Simon Cowell? Jerry Seinfeld?? lol)
